Your agreement with Pipoka Events

These are the Terms and Conditions of access and use this service. This forms a legally binding contract between us and you which is effective from the date of your first use of the website. Any participation in this service, browsing or using the website will constitute acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions or any part of them, you should stop using the website immediately.

FOR ALL SERVICE USERS


GENERAL TERMS – APPLICABLE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS

Conditions to attend classes:

  • Booking in advance is essential for all Salsa and Bachata courses. You can join the course every time a new group start a new block of classes.

  •  Numbers are restricted on 20 people for the Salsa and  Bachata courses; LatinFit classes are drop-in, no booking or experience required, the number will be limited by the capacity of each hall, and classes are filled on a first-come-first-served basis. 

  • All students are required to stay within their level advised by the instructors.

  • Regular classes duration is 55 minutes.

  • Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time for your class/workshop/ event, especially in your first class, arrive 10 minutes before the class to complete and sign the enrolment form.

  • We work on the 8-week course blocks basis for Salsa and Bachata dance, and drop-in basis forms for Latin Dance Fitness (Power, Fun and Inclusive), with the possibility to buy 6 classes pass, that can be used in any location. This is valid for an 8-week period from the moment you come to your first class. This package cannot be refunded, cancelled, shared or transferred.

Health and injuries

Participants take classes at their own risk. Please inform the instructor of any medical condition that may affect your participation. If you have any doubts, we strongly urge you to seek expert advice before starting our dancing classes.

 

Allowing us to use your image
We sometimes film or photograph our classes, rehearsals, parties and other activities in our classes and events so it is possible that you will appear in these audio-visual materials. By accepting your agreement, you allow us the unrestricted right and permission to use your image in printed or digital promotional materials like website, social media, flyers, banners and videos.

1. PAYMENTS – APPLICABLE TO ALL CLIENTS

  • Salsa and Bachata the full payment must be received by the second class of the course,  your class and there is no refundable for absence.

  •  All prices of online purchasing do not online fees.

 

Are catch up classes allowed?

Yes, you can catch un your class same level class in other location and day, into the same week.

 

Cancelled course or classes
In the instance, we cancel a course or a class we will either transfer you to another group or refund you.

 

Public Holidays and unforeseen circumstances
Pipoka Events reserve the right to cancel classes on public holidays. Cancellation of classes will be informed via our social media channels, at reception and during classes. There will be no discounts offered for that period.

Pipoka Events reserves the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances outside of Pipoka Events control. There will be no discounts offered for that period.

 

Can we increase your fees?
We reserve the right to increase the fees for our courses and classes at any time. We will make a reasonable effort to inform you and all students about any increase in costs in advance via email. If we don’t hear from you, we will consider that you have agreed with the new fees.

These cannot be refunded, cancelled, shared or transferred.

 

2.CLASS  CODE

Respecting our facilities
You are responsible for using our facilities with care. Note that you will be responsible for any damage that you cause through a wilful act or negligence.
 

Keep your belongings safe.
Please keep your belongings safe and do not bring valuables into the halls. Unfortunately, thefts do happen. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your belongings while you are at Pipoka Events course, classes, workshop and events.

What happens if you break the code
We can refuse entry to anyone if you act unreasonably or break the code. If you continue to behave in the same way, we may refuse your attendance immediately. We can refuse your audience without warning if you behave in a way that is risky or seriously inappropriate, such as:

  • Threatening or harassing others

  • Damaging premises

  • Using illegal or performance-enhancing drugs

  •  Instructing other members when we have not authorised you to do so.

 

Change of location
We reserve the right to change the location at any time.

3. ONLINE WORKSHOPS


Registration and access to workshops
During the process of purchasing tickets, you will be asked to provide us with some details. These details will grant you access to the workshops.
 

Ticket transferability
Tickets cannot be shared or transferred, and solely it is valid for the ticket purchaser.

Ticket Cancellation
Any cancellation must be informed by email through Pipoka Events website at least 24 hours before the workshop takes place; the refund will be realised within 3-5 business days. The original purchaser can only submit the refund request. The refund will only be made on the original payment method used to purchase the ticket.

4. LEGAL POLICIES

Governing law.

These terms and conditions and use of this website will be governed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. The Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of your use of this website.

All courses, classes, workshops and events are non-refundable. Refunds will only be issued in the unlikely event of cancellation of a class or workshop by Pipoka Events and will not be issued for situations out with our control.
